The game of Gin or Jim Rummy is relatively simple - here your goal is to form melds from your Jim Rummy hand by picking up and discarding cards. Your melds can either be Runs or Sets. A Run consists of at least three cards of the same suit in sequence. This Jim Rummy meld is particularly hard to complete as you are waiting on one particular card to come along, which might be held by your online Gin Rummy opponents. The most recommended Jin Rummy tactic is to compose as much sets as you can. A Set is composed by at least three cards of the same value and of different suits. If you aim for online Gin Rummy Sets, you will probably complete them much faster than Runs, as even if your desired Gin card is in your opponent's hand, you have no problem waiting for a different card of the same value in a different suit.
